Spring tidings

Spring tidings

When a seed of an idea from 2014 was encouraged to grow by the support of a wonderful gathering of people in Phoenix Park in September 2016, We understood that the challenging work of organising and coaxing our fledgling eeai association to life was really just beginning.

The themes and core values decided on that sunny Sunday which underpin and guide the eeai deserved time and careful consideration in their interpretation. The many and varied aspirations of those who gathered were saturated with so much knowledge, ideas and wisdom that great reflection was necessary to ensure an accurate shaping and presentation of the eeai to truly mirror such a compassionate and keen contribution.

Our association has now entered an eager, confident, youthful stage, ready for the growth ahead, but loyal to its founding ideals.

Our wonderful team of eeai volunteers have been working so hard to mould what were words and ideas into a functioning association. Our aim was to keep things simple – but as the swan appears graceful above the waterline, we know what persistant peddling is necessary below. Such was our story of busy but committed teamwork over the past number of months.

We are delighted to present our new eeai website in which to share and communicate our association’s ethos, aims and structure. Along with our eeai newsletter, we hope to connect and reconnect the existing eeai community, to attract new members and subscribers and convert this digital binary code into warm and welcoming face-to-face, safe and supportive gatherings in nature over the years to come.

Our heartfelt thanks to everybody who has ever taken the time to either contribute an idea, worked hard to complete a project or indeed shared their kind presence with us at the eeai. We have found the experience to be enriching and exciting and we’d like to put the call out to those of you who would enjoy volunteering, to become part of the eeai team.

So after all the organising, thinking and doing of recent months – it is time for our team to enjoy the eeai’s growth spurt this spring and return to a less computer-keyboard orientated existence to a simpler more natural place and space of simply just ‘being’.

We look forward to meeting you soon and every warmest wish to you all for 2018 and beyond.
